It is rumored that she was originally going to be behind the theft of the missing cures, telling Oates of their existence and using them to barter for her freedom and new home in Italy. Yet when she returns in the penultimate episode of Season 3, she tells Major she's been able to fund her travels and purchase a new home in Italy via her savings from her time as a call girl. It is also of note that Natalie stated Blaine payed her exclusively in brains, leading her to run through her savings.

While unconfirmed, it is speculated that Natalie would have played a larger role in the series specifically in regards to the missing cures. She did run, and apparently, he did not find her. Upon receiving a dose of the cure, Natalie told Major that she couldn't leave with him as Oates would find her no matter where she ran. We never hear of Oates again, and he apparently gets away with his crime.

Despite knowing Major intended to free her, he does not send his henchman after him in retaliation once Natalie escapes. Vivian wishes to get revenge on whoever killed her husband, but she doesn’t have the chance to do so before she is killed off to accommodate Andrea Savage’s departure from the series for her TruTV show I'm Sorry. It’s implied Blaine scratched and later killed Vivian Stoll’s husband Harrison Graves. It’s possible that it was just simply a criminal or a loved one of someone Peyton had put away as an assistant district attorney, but again, it is never revealed nor followed up upon. It was also speculated that it may have been Stacey Boss threatening her as a way to seed his return, though the two did not even interact when Boss did return to Seattle. It's also possible it was Don E., who may have lashed out at her following his bitter altercation with Blaine at Shady Plots as he believed Blaine was faking his amnesia to get close to her (he had yet to do so by that point in time). This is unlikely however, as he would have no way of knowing her other friends, such as Ravi, would not respond to her calls for comfort. It's possible it was Blaine himself, hoping she'd take him up on an earlier offer to keep her company if she was nervous. It's never mentioned again, nor is it discovered who the perpetrator was.
